About

Desiring Wellness is grounded in the individual internal desire to be made whole. In the biblical passage recorded in John 5:1-8, Jesus encounters a man who had been ill for many years. Before proceeding to heal the man, Jesus asked him, “Do you want to get well?” Close examination of this question revealed Jesus wanted the man to assess his commitment to the process of getting well and to doing whatever necessary to change his current circumstances. An answer in the affirmative would signify a desire for wellness and compel one to seek and engage in wellness practices. Supporting individuals to engage in wellness practices is the heart of services provided by this ministry.
Working Together
We all experience difficult emotions, and some days, managing them in healthy ways can be a real struggle. I've been there, and some days, I'm still there! (The struggle is real! 😊)
Through Desiring Wellness, my goal is to create a welcoming space where we can learn, reflect, and grow together. I believe that by engaging in practical emotional wellness strategies and integrating principles of faith, we can develop healthier ways of responding to life's challenges and move toward greater balance and wholeness.
